ICAP provides fair
coverage
(in more ways than one)!
ICAP now offers casualty and property coverage packages to Iowa Fair
boards! This capability came about
after Iowa Code section 670.7 was
amended in 2008; thus, designating fairs
as municipalities for the purpose of
joining a local government risk pool.
Not long after, the Association of Iowa Fairs (AIF) unanimously
endorsed ICAP as the
Association-sponsored property &
casualty coverage provider for all Iowa
Fairs. Since then, ICAP has quoted over
60 Iowa fairs, 39 of which have joined
the Pool.
AIF Executive Director, Tom Barnes, stated “ICAP represents an
opportunity for superior coverage and
reduced cost” for Iowa Fairs and he is
proud “to offer such a quality program
for consideration.”
In addition to superior coverage and reduced costs, fair boards
joining ICAP will receive on-site loss
control, hands-on training and access to
over 10,000 training materials via an
Online Resource Library.
